Allie O.

$1 of $1 raised

Allie has been a nature lover for as long as she can remember. She used to raise and help injured baby birds and animals as a kid and always had a passion for helping wildlife. After accidentally hitting a red shouldered hawk on her way home from work a few years ago, she scooped him up and drove him to the nearest wildlife rehabber. Allie fell in love as soon as she stepped into the clinic. She then found the Sharon Audubon center in Sharon Connecticut and learned they have a fantastic rehab program and specialize in baby birds. A few weeks later she started volunteering during spring baby season, feeding baby birds and also caring for squirrels and opossums. Allie has now been in the clinic learning wildlife rehab for almost a year and has done almost 700 hours. As she embarks on this journey, an incubator will help her save the most fragile baby animals.
