Barbara B.

Growing up in upstate New York, Barbara was so surrounded by nature that she took it for granted. It wasn't until 1993 when she found 3 distressed, orphaned baby squirrels. Hearing their cries would change Barbara forever. She scooped them off the pavement, whisked them to safety and her fate was sealed. She has been caring for Eastern Gray Squirrels, Woodchucks, Chipmunks, and Flying Squirrels ever since, as well as educating the public to foster a respect for wildlife, natural habitat and ecosystems.
