Beth W.

Beth was a Physician Assistant for 30 years and 22 of those years were in Pediatrics. She found that fluid replacement and caloric needs of birds were similar to newborn infants and put her experience to work caring for our winged friends in need. When Fish & Wildlife asked Beth to take on Golden Eagle and a Great Horned Owl, she began focusing on raptors. In her 33rd year of caring for injured and orphaned animals, she also does at least 80 educational programs each year to teach the public about the important role that raptors play in our environment.
