Brandi has always had a passion for animals. She began rehabilitating wildlife in 2001 while attending Texas A&M University and majoring in wildlife ecology and management, and has spent the last 16 years rehabilitating wildlife in some capacity either as a permitted rehabilitator, sub-permittee or volunteer. In 2012, Brandi and her husband founded Nature's Edge Wildlife and Reptile Rescue where she specializes in squirrels, opossums, bats, reptiles and amphibians. She's also awaiting her federal permits for birds of prey and in the meantime, she helps with the transport of these birds to permitted rehabilitators. Brandi also takes in all unwanted pet reptiles and amphibians and finds them forever homes. When her hands aren't full of animals in need, she conducts outreach education programs focusing on wildlife conservation, life history, habitat, adaptations and identification and provide information on minimizing human-wildlife conflicts. Let's get her the incubator she needs to care for her tiniest patients.
