Crystal married into the military and in her travels has come across many animals in need. She learned about mange in the California Coyotes, raised 2 desert mountain lynxes, nursed kittens, puppies, baby rats, sugar glider joeys, opossums and raccoons -- all while living in various states as a military wife. Once Crystal moved to Missouri to attend Veterinary Technician school while her husband was stationed in Korea, she volunteered at a nearby Wildlife Rehab Center and she has been caring for animals ever since - Bats, Cottontails, Virginia Opossums, Raccoons, Squirrels, Skunks, Groundhogs and any others who need a helping hand. Crystal truly has her hands full with her own family, including her husband who is a wounded Army veteran and needs 24 hour care. She was raised to believe that helping family and community is what life is about. Rehabilitating wildlife and educating the public about wildlife is her duty, honor and joy.
