Dawn L.

Dawn's father worked with animals and she loved nothing more than to sit next to him, watch him work, and hear him tell the story of every animal he worked with. Unable to attend vet school herself, Dawn began volunteering with veterinarians and learning all she could. Finally one day she saw an ad in the paper about wildlife rehabilitation. She tried it, immediately fell in love with helping orphaned baby animals, and has been helping them on and of for many years since. Dawn cares for squirrels, rabbits, opossums, raccoons, fox, coyote, bobcats, bats, and all kinds of birds including waterfowl. She has saved countless animals, and sadly lost a few along the way but that has never stopped her from doing all she can for animals.
