For many years, Deb was the one in the county who folks turned to when they had a baby bunny or a nest that had fallen. When she received orphaned fox kits, she knew she needed to become a licensed rehabber. Twenty years later, she has now cared for about 60 bird species and about 12 different species of mammals. Her organization North Park Wildlife Rehabilitation borders national forest and wilderness, and has one of the largest eagle/hawk flight cages in Colorado. When not helping the wildlife in her care, Deb also works for Colorado Parks & Wildlife.
