Debbie has been helping animals ever since she was 10 years old -- kittens, puppies, and squirrels. Now officially rehabbing in her third year, Debbie takes in injured and orphaned squirrels as well as other animals who need a helping hand. She says that helping animals brings joy to her life -- to care for them, watch them grow, and then release them back to the wild where they belong. Debbie's also raising her 10 year old grandson who shares her love of animals. We're so grateful to all rehabbers who, in addition to rehabilitating animals, show kids what it means to love and respect wildlife.
