Debbie has spent her whole adult life in the human medical field but has always loved animals. When she moved to a rural area 23 years ago she learned about wildlife rehabilitation and started volunteering. After several years, she decided to get her own permit and now cares for all birds, including raptors, waterbirds and songbirds, as well as mammals. Debbie specializes in Golden Eagles in an area where there is a great need for rehabbers to care for injured and orphaned animals. She feels so fortunate to be in a place where she can enjoy the wild things of her beautiful state.
