Geordanna C.

As a little girl, Geordanna adored animals and would often save up her allowance to feed and care for stray and orphaned animals. She volunteered at animal shelters and veterinarian offices but when she found an injured 3 day old baby squirrel, her life was about to change. Unable to find a rehabilitator to take the baby in, she learned all she could and nursed the baby back to the health for 3 weeks. Knowing the best thing for the baby was to be raised with other squirrels, she found a wildlife rehabber willing to take little "Esther" in. The rehabber was impressed with how healthy the baby was, especially in the hands of a first timer, and took Geordanna on under her mentorship. Just a year later, Geordanna now cares for squirrels and specializes in newborns. She's also an artist, currently creating work that brings awareness to wildlife, especially urban wildlife.
