Jackie has always worked with wildlife so when she relocated to South Carolina, she got involved with Wildlife Rehab of Greenville as a transporter. Once she obtained her rehab certification at the University of Georgia, Jackie started working with squirrels, opossum and bunnies. She enjoys helping the sick and injured animals recover and get back to the wild, and when needed, helping a wild animal pass without suffering when they are too injured to survive. Jackie says that caring for newborn wildlife is her favorite work, and watching them grow and be released back to the wild is one of the most satisfying things she can think of.
