Janice wanted to be a a vet but became an RN instead. All through her nursing career she volunteered at shelters and rescues. Now that she's retired, she and her husband work together to rescue and rehabilitate wildlife. They care for fox, raccoons, squirrels, birds and possums, as many as 180 each year. In her 20 years of rehabbing, they've rescued so many animals that Janice says it makes her heart full of pride and respect for wildlife and nature.
