Growing up, Jessica always took in orphaned baby animals and tried to help them. She also volunteered at a zoo during the summer and that's how she met a wildlife rehabber for the first time. She assisted the rehabber and learned a lot, eventually getting her own license. Jessica now cares for raccoons, rabbits, squirrels and opossums. She says that taking care of babies in need makes her life fulfilling. She loves seeing them return to their natural habit where they were meant to be.
