Jillian B.

Jillian started as a foster parent for cats and kittens, especially bottle babies, then became a staff member at an animal shelter. While attending vet tech school, she was hired at Gold Country Wildlife Rescue and truly found her passion with wildlife. Along with working at the intake center caring for thousands of animals a year, she also home rehabilitates those who need round-the-clock attention or a less stressful atmosphere than the busy intake center can provide. Jillian says that she feels so fortunate to get to work with amazing species and be a big part of returning animals to the wild.
