Even as a small child, Judith was always fascinated by wildlife. When she helped a friend find a rehabber to care for orphaned squirrels, she became determined to become a rehabber to help wildlife in her own community. Judith now cares for songbirds, ducklings and bunnies - up to about 100 each year, most of them neonates. She lives in a rural area where so many animals are in need of care but there just aren't enough rehabbers to care for them. Judith recognizes that it's a tremendous responsibility to learn the best ways to care for wildlife to ensure they have an optimal chance to return to the wild. She feels that it's an honor to help the animals and hopes to continue doing so for many years to come.
