Karen has cared for animals all of her life. She works nights in an Equine veterinary lab and many nights on her way home, she would find animals who had been hit by cars and were in need of medical attention. Rather than stress the animals further with transport, Karen decided to take care of them herself. She apprenticed under a licensed rehabilitator and has been helping animals ever since -- opossum, cottontails, raccoons, and a variety of other emergency cases until the baby can reach the correct rehabillitator. Both the animals that remain in Karen's care, as well as those who are on their way to another facility, will benefit greatly from an incubator.
