Kat

Growing up on a farm, Kat has always loved animals but just didn’t feel right about breeding puppies or kittens when there are so many already in need of homes. She turned instead to wilidfe rehabilitation where she now gets to work with plenty of baby animals, save lives and reduce suffering at the same time. A wildlife rehabber for 12 years, Kat now works within the DFW Wildlife Coalition. She cares for all wildlife, primarily small mammals and she specializes in raccoons, taking in about 50 babies each year. Kat will use the incubator for baby raccoons, opossums and squirrels, particularly the “premies” who really need the warmth an incubator will provide.
