Kate has always had a huge connection with animals, so much so that she has been practicing as a veterinary technician for 8 years. She began working with wildlife thanks to her mother-in-law who is a registered wildlife rehabber. Kate helped her for a year until she knew this was something she wanted to do. She took the necessary actions to be licensed in her state and now cares for squirrels, opossums and rabbits. Kate finds it so rewarding to have the ability to help animals in need, especially wildlife!
