Ever since Laura was a kid she was always drawn to animals. After college, she worked for Animal Control and was able to educate and help the public, later becoming a Texas Master Naturalist. When the opportunity arose to volunteer for Kemp Wildlife, she jumped at the chance to gain more hands on experience with wildlife. Laura now helps raccoons, rabbits, skunks, opossums, squirrels and pretty much any other injured or orphaned small mammal. She loves sharing her home with family, friends and animals, and her door is always open for those in need.
