Laura has always had a passion for helping animals, and was fortunate to work with several wildlife patients during her years at a veterinary hospital. These experiences gave her a look into the field of wildlife rehab, and when she found out she could help even more as a volunteer with a wildlife rescue, she immediately jumped on the opportunity. Laura initially became involved with the songbird clinic, then began helping the rescue's opossum specialist (her neighbor!) with baby opossums when they received a higher than usual number of babies. Laura's so excited to spend more time with baby opossums and knows how helpful an incubator will be in saving the smallest and most fragile ones.
