Proud Air Force Wife for 10 years, Lauren moved to a small town in Indiana about 3 years ago where she acquired the nicknames "Raccoon Lady" and "Squirrel Lady" for taking care of little ones in need. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician and had been working with all types of animals most of her life. She started by rescuing dogs and cats by fostering and finding loving homes for them, then began volunteering to help wildlife. Lauren is now working toward her rehabbing license so that she can continue helping injured and orphaned squirrels, opossums and raccoons, and give them a second chance at life.
