Lisa's granddaughter attended a wildlife rehabilitation camp and loved it. The next week she and Lisa were applying for their wildlife rehabilitation license. The day they were approved they took in an injured squirrel and over the next few weeks they received several orphaned squirrels. Since then they have taken in over 300 animals in their first year, including songbirds, shore birds, squirrels, opossums, cottontails, mice, and more. There are very few rehabbers in Vermont and so many animals in need of help. An incubator will help Lisa with the most fragile babies.
