Lisa has loved animals from a very young age and was always bringing home injured and orphaned animals. Her wildlife rehab journey officially began three years ago when she saw an ad on Craigslist from somebody needing help to save orphaned baby opossums after their mother had been shot. Lisa knew she had to help. She rescued the babies, made calls, researched, and did everything she could to learn how to save them. She knew right then that wildlife rehabilitation was her calling and she hasn't stopped since. Lisa now cares for opossums, rabbits, skunks, raccoons, bobcats, squirrels, fox, coyotes and pretty much any animal in need. Lisa says she is blessed and honored to be able to do what she is doing. She feels as if every animal has a purpose here on earth and were created beautifully by the same loving God that we were created by, and those in need are found and brought to rehabbers all over the with the guidance of God.
