When Lynne discovered that a local animal shelter was feeding bird seed to a Screech owl and cows milk & egg yolk to baby squirrels, she told them it wasn't correct. They handed over all wildlife to Lynne and word soon spread to 5 counties. 35 years later she cares for songbirds, raptors, fox, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, opossums, groundhogs and more. In between caring for the babies, she teaches kids & adults about wildlife with her non-releasable animal ambassadors at her side. Lynne says that the reward and joy of releasing animals back into the wild makes up for the heartbreak when some don't make it. "We are connected like threads in a tapestry and if we lose one, we are weakened."
