Nathan B.

Nathan had been working with animals for over 20 years as a rancher and professional farrier when he had the opportunity to become involved with raptor rehabilitation. He founded Wind River Raptors in 2016 and in their first year we took in 66 injured, ill and orphaned birds of prey. He specializes in working with Golden Eagles due to his extensive experience working with large raptors, and due to their location in central Wyoming -- the heart of eagle country. The need in the area is great and resources are few for these birds. Nathan enjoys having the opportunity to make a difference for these beautiful birds and is grateful to, often times, be their only chance at surviving. Nathan's wife Lindsey is just as dedicated to saving the animals, and together they're raising two young boys, the next generation of wildlife caregivers.
