Pearl grew up on a farm learning how to care for animals. When she moved to Virginia over 20 years ago, she became involved with a wildlife group and has been caring for wildlife ever since. Pearl cares for mammals and birds, specializing in birds of prey, helping as many as 1000 animals each year. She believes that a single person can make a difference - and in helping so many animals, she lives that every day.
