$475 of $475 raised

Petra raised a litter of kittens and really took a liking to raising baby animals. She wanted to do more with animals and make a positive difference in their lives but she didn't want to work with domestics due to the difficulty of adopting them out. She volunteered with a local reptile rescue, learned about Messinger Woods Wildlife Hospital, and before long she was training to become a wildlife rehabber. Petra now cares for squirrels, chipmunks, woodchucks, mice, turtles (and their eggs), birds and reptiles. Wildlife rehabbing has given her an opportunity to try to make up for fellow humans disrespecting the disregarding the natural world.
