An animal lover from a young age, Regina's life changed when she discovered how many injured and orphaned animals weren't being helped and she decided to do something about it. She trained to become a wildlife rehabber and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. Regina specializes in caring for squirrels and groundhogs but also helps rabbits, opossums, mice, bats, rats, and occasionally birds. She loves helping each wild baby have the chance he/she deserves to thrive, and feeling that connectedness with nature when she returns animals to the wild. When Regina isn't helping wildlife, she's a high school science teacher -- awarded "Humane Educator of the Year" for moderating an after school animal rights club.
