Former game warden and law enforcement agent Robin has always had a love of animals. After she retired, her husband brought home a newborn squirrel in need of help. Robin didn't know anything about raising a baby squirrel so she researched all she could then successfully raised and released him back into the wild. In a sad turn of events, the squirrel was attacked by another squirrel, came back to Robin injured and died in her hands. The heartbreaking experience motivated her to become a wildlife rehabber all the more. In her 5th year of rehabbing, Robin cares for injured and orphaned squirrels. She says that it brings her life a lot of joy, knowing that she is helping to give a baby a chance to survive and live in the wild.
