Sunny was born with an innate passion for wildlife and has always known that wildlife rehabilitation is her purpose in life. At the age of 13 she began volunteering at Aububon Sharon and eventually attended college for the Wildlife Rehabilitation Major Program while also helping wildlife at the on-campus center. After graduation, Sunny volunteered and interned at other wildlife rehabilitation centers then finally made her way back to where she first started living her dream - Audubon Sharon. In her 13th year of wildlife rehabilitation, Sunny cares for all songbirds, birds of prey, waterfowl, reptiles and small mammals. Audubon Sharon is one of the only places in her area that admits Chimney Swifts due to the specialty of their care. They are the "Swift & Swallow people!"
