Tammy started her job at Henderson Animal Care Hospital 14+ years ago. She met a client who is a licensed rehabber and thought that it is so amazing to rescue little babies and nurse them back to health. Tammy volunteered for a couple of years and then went into rehabbing full time, now caring for squirrels, flying squirrels, opposum, raccoons, skunks, cottontail bunnies, and songbirds. Since she works at an Animal Hospital, she is able to provide 24 hour care for nursing, medical attention, raising them and eventually releasing them back into the wild. She would greatly benefit from an incubator for her tiniest patients. Tammy says that wildlife rehabbing is a joy and she is blessed to be able to help animals in need.
