As a USMC Viet Nam Veteran 100% disabled service connected and retired State employee, Tommy helps his wife with tropical bird rescue and rehoming. When he also began helping a wildlife rehabber with injured and orphaned animals, he fell in love with helping waterbirds. Tommy transformed his basement, passed his inspection, and is now a permitted rehabber caring for herons, egrets and all other "waders". He'll use his incubator for nestlings that need a bit of extra help staying warm and healthy.
