Towana always wanted to care for wildlife and often brought home injured and orphaned animals as a child. Later in life, she found herself with 3 orphaned baby raccoons and wasn't quite sure what to do. She looked up wildlife rehabilitation online and found Tanya at ARC for Wildlife. Tanya took Towana under her wing and taught her all about caring for and releasing wildlife. Towana now cares for raccoons, squirrels, skunks and opossums. Her greatest joy is to be able to release them back to the wild and know she had a part in helping them.
