As a wildlife biologist with a heart for all animals, I recognized that our community had no few options for injured or orphaned wildlife. Awareness in this gap of services inclined me to add a wildlife service to our nonprofit, All Species Kinship. Since 2001 we have served as an assessment and triage service for native wildlife in Michigan. While I only provide long-term care for a select number of species, we are a first-stop for numerous species requiring stabilization which is why additional incubators are so important.
