The area in which I live has few options for wildlife in need, and the nearest rehabbers are often stretched to their limits. Seeing this, along with my own experience rehabbing animals, inspired me to research and make my wildlife rehabilitation effort official. I want to help ease the burden and give more injured or orphaned animals a fighting chance.
One of my most urgent needs right now is an incubator, which provides critical warmth and stability for vulnerable babies like opossums, squirrels, and birds. Having one here means that I can respond faster, give immediate care, and increase survival rates for the tiniest lives that depend on us.
