What started as a frantic drive to a rehabilitator after my escape-artist cat caught a bird transformed from a moment of guilt into a lifelong calling. Those initial trips opened my eyes to the delicate world of avian rescue, sparking a curiosity that quickly evolved into a deep-seated passion. Today, I am a dedicated volunteer with the Congress of the Birds, and I am hard at work obtaining my own license and establishing a small, specialized wildlife clinic in my basement. My goal is to directly support the mission of rehabbing and releasing orphaned birds across Rhode Island. A Baby Warm incubator is the missing piece of this mission; it provides the precise, stable warmth these fragile babies need to maintain their metabolism. Without the right body temperature, they cannot digest food or regain their strength. This equipment will ensure that every nestling in my care has the thermal support necessary to grow, fledge, and eventually return to the wild.
