I have always had a deep love for wildlife and animals. We often like to call humans the most “intelligent” species, but we are the ones who are destroying our own planet and the home to so much wildlife that has zero say in it. I think trying to help as many animals as I can is the very least I can do, and owe it to them to do what I can. I have a deep love and interest in bats, but squirrels will always be special to me because they are what first got me interested in rehabbing. Being able to nurse an animal back to health and getting it to a point it can be back where it’s meant to be is the most rewarding feeling there is.
