4 yrs ago I had a group of baby raccoons run infront of me while I was driving with a loaded trailer full of rescue horses. We stopped grabbed gloves and grabbed all 3 babies. Brought them home and started calling around. I found a rehabber in Washington, MA - Berkshire Wildlife Dawn Collins she guided me with how to keep the babies warm and safe till I could get them to her. I started researching how to get my state permit and took classes also, And finally got my permit to rehab Wildlife and jumped right in. Since then I've dedicated my time mostly to Raccoons and have rehabbed squirrels, Mice & Opposum also. I do alot of transport also so I've had to barrow incubators in-between and come up with ways to keep warm during transport or during rough stages of care.
