This incubator campaign was for the TLC-40 Eco Series II Baby Warm model
Like many new rehabbers, I started simply because a small mammal needed help — and once I saw how vulnerable wildlife can be, I couldn’t look away. Since then, I’ve become especially passionate about rehabilitating small mammals, including rabbits, squirrels, opossums, and learning the specialized care they require during their most fragile stages of life.
I’ve spent time learning from experienced rehabilitators, online wildlife resources, and hands-on care experience. Every day brings something new to learn, whether it’s proper feeding techniques, hydration, safe handling, developmental milestones, or preparing animals for eventual release back into the wild.
What I love most is watching these tiny animals grow stronger and more independent over time. Seeing a once fragile baby begin to thrive is incredibly rewarding and has inspired me to continue building my knowledge and skills in wildlife rehabilitation.
I’m applying for this incubator opportunity because I want to learn the right way from experienced mentors, strengthen my rehabilitation practices, and become a more effective resource for small mammal wildlife rehabilitation in my community. I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and helping wildlife get a second chance at life in the wild.
