Jodie has always had a passion for helping local wildlife, especially urban wildlife – the animals that a lot of people don’t normally think about. Although she has spent most of her adult life suffering from chronic illnesses, and therefore unable to do hands-on care, she used that time to research these animals and the care needed. The last few years have seen a change in her health and she is finally living her dream and working as the Vice President of Southern Wildlife Rehab, in San Antonio, TX. Jodie has thoroughly enjoyed working with bats, possums, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, tortoises, and turtles. It has been a dream come true and she looks forward to continuing for many years to come.
