Pamela L.

Pamela has always loved animals and has often said that if she had life to do over, she would be a vet. She has owned horses, goats, chickens, ducks, ferrets, cats and dogs, and volunteered at her local cat shelter. Animals have always been a big part of her life. When a friend told Pamela there was a class being offered to become a Wildlife Rehabber, she jumped at the chance. She is now retired and has the time to do whatever she wants, so she signed up for the training class. Pamela passed the exam then enrolled in several workshops/labs and found her niche. For the past 3 months she has been apprenticing at a wildlife rescue with an experienced rehabber who saves over 100 animals each year. She is teaching Pamela to properly care for several species, as well as about the cages, housing and supplies she'll need. Her mentor uses a Baby Warm incubator (yay!). Pamela will have her license soon and will begin caring for injured and orphaned animals at her home. Let's get her a Baby Warm incubator so she'll be ready for the first babies to arrive.
