I’ve always had a fascination with wildlife, especially squirrels. In 2001, I attended a local open house for a wildlife rehabilitation clinic just to learn more, and I ended up volunteering the very next week. I was immediately hooked.

While volunteering, I fell in love with opossums and developed a real passion for caring for them and helping people better understand how unique and misunderstood they are. After years of volunteering and gaining hands-on experience, I applied for and received my home rehabilitation permit in 2012.

Wildlife rehabilitation has been an important part of my life ever since.
