Crystal P.

When Crystal was a teenager she was riding her bike and came upon an opossum who had been hit by a car. Feeling bad for her, Crystal went to move her out of the road when she discovered one live baby. She frantically searched for someone to care for this tiny little pink creature and was introduced to a wildlife rehabber who was willing to train Crystal. Crystal spent much time volunteering for Gerda Deterer of Wildlife Rescue Inc. in Maryland and to this day loves helping wildlife. Gerta has since earned her wings so for every opossum Crystal saves, it is in her memory.
