Foxfeather Z.

Foxfeather has always loved animals and started as a wildlife rehabilitation volunteer back in 1999 as a way to help the animals she has such a passion for. When she moved to a more rural area of her state, there were no opportunities to continue volunteering with wildlife, and no licensed rehabbers within more than an hour of her location. She spent the intervening years getting more experience with domestic and exotic species, as well as through related conferences, transport volunteer work, falconry, and wildlife education training ambassador animals. She is finally in a position where she was able to start doing wildlife rehabilitation herself, with enough land to build outdoor flight enclosures and a small wildlife hospital area. Foxfeather hopes to help grow and expand the area's network to have a more robust group of volunteers and rehabilitators to better service wildlife in her area.
