I’ve been a veterinary assistant since 2020. I mainly worked in urgent care, emergency, and intensive care/nursing. I’ve always had a deep rooted passion for wildlife and nature. I poured over books on my local fauna as a child and that love continued into adulthood. So when I met Dana in 2024 and she told me of her wildlife rehabilitation journey, it only made sense that it would be time for me to start my very own journey working with my local wildlife! She took me under her wing and has shown me how to care for many different species, including bats, raccoons, opossums, and falcons. I’m now taking steps to get licensing of my own with her help and guidance!
