This incubator campaign was for the TLC-30 Eco “To Go” Portable Incubator model

$265 of $265 raised

My journey started when I found a bunny in my yard that was in need of help. I reached out to a local wildlife rehabber for advice on how to help the bunny. She was looking for volunteers and, given my love for animals and admiration for her work, I jumped at the chance to help. I started with rehabilitating bunnies, then moved on to squirrels and raccoons. It has been 3 years since that day, and she has taught me the ropes. With my passion and knowledge, I am now the wildlife rehabber for my county. Before I started, the county did not have a designated rehabber. However, I am honored to fill that role.

I currently use a homemade incubator made from a Rubbermaid container with ventilation holes drilled in the top and a heating pad underneath. Working with animals from newborns to adults that are ready to be released back into the wild is incredibly rewarding. I cannot imagine my life now without this experience. It feels like God has placed me in the right place at the right time to care for his creation. Each time I release a healthy animal back into the wild, I am truly blessed.
