Monique B.
It happened by accident. Monique was asked to babysit a set of orphaned baby opossums and she fell in love with the amazing creatures. The more she dove into their world, the more she was hit with how extremely hard their lives are, not counting all the abuse cases. Monique's heart ached with all the hardships they endure every year and she was determined to do her part to help them. 5 years later, she is now a home rehabber who works under a larger rehab license until she is qualified for her own. Her rehab seasons have grown every year, starting with one passel to now she is taking in a MINIMUM of 30 orphaned opossum joeys a season, with more expected this season. Monique says that her heart can't fathom the amazing good she could do having a professional incubator for these babies. Let's make it happen for Monique and the babies in her care.
