In 2023, I lost my husband, and father to my 3 children. We were married for 16 years after both serving in the navy.

I started volunteering with my middle daughter to help her grieve her father as well as have something to focus on.

Turns out-it has given me so much-special time with my daughter, learning myself, and then teaching her how to care for these animals….its become our lives. We’re so thankful to our mentor for helping us with this wonderful gift.
