Olivia V.

$475 of $475 raised

Olivia became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2011 with the intention of becoming a wildlife rehabber. After graduation, she began working at a turtle rehabilitation hospital caring for sick and injured turtles. Her passion for wildlife led her to volunteer at other wildlife centers and she's always excited to learn more about wildlife rehabilitation. Olivia is now in the process of establishing her own wildlife rehabilitation centre which will care for all species of Ontario wildlife.  Currently there is no wildlife rehabilitation centre withing 75km of Peterborough which cares for all species of Ontario wildlife. Her hope in establishing the Kawartha Wildlife Centre is to bridge this gap in order to preserve the biodiversity of the Kawartha Lakes and care for sick, orphaned and injured Ontario wildlife.
