I became a wildlife rehabilitator because I see value in living things that others often overlook and feel a responsibility to act when I have the ability to help. What started with helping a single animal quickly grew into a passion for giving injured and orphaned wildlife a second chance. Over the last three years, I have cared for everything from baby squirrels and opossums to fawns, raccoons, turtles, and rabbits. Every animal deserves compassion and the opportunity to return to the wild where it belongs. Wildlife rehabilitation allows me to combine my love for animals, education, and service to my community. My goal is not just to save individual animals, but to educate the public, promote coexistence with wildlife, and provide help when people donβt know where else to turn.
